TITLE: Port of Entry
AUTHOR: John P. Lintz, Sr.
GENRE: Thrillers
RATING; 3.5 Stars
Port of Entry written by John P. Lintz is a hundred mile an hour thrill ride.
The author has pretty well thrown everything he possibly could in the storyline and, to my surprise, he actually made it all work together. There is alot going on in this book, CIA, suicide bombers, references to 9/11 and of course terrorism.
There is some interesting references and great detail made to the border patrolling of the US-Mexico border and as a resident of the "other border" Canada, I could not help but make comparisons at the great differences in which Mexico and Canada see the US (and the great differences the US makes between Canada and Mexico).
The storyline is fast and furious and I found myself getting involved in the CIA agents fate, both from an action point of view and from a romance point of view.
This book is not as sharply written as some of the more known authors such as Silva, but it was a great ride.
