REVIEW for Mrs. Zhivago of Queen's Park

Thank you! thank you! to author Olivia Lichtenstein for sending me a copy of her book!
TITLE: Mrs. Zhivago of Queen's Park
AUTHOR: Olivia Lichtenstein
GENRE: Chick lit/women's fiction
RATING: 3 Stars
I love this kind of novel - touching, witty and absolutely wonderful. Chloe Zhivago is relatively content - but deep inside- she knows that there should be more. She loves her life, but the 'what ifs' and the "could I' start intruding on her happy life and once she starts, she can't seem to control it. Enter the handsome Russian who is looking for his own adventures and Chloe falls under his charm.
This book is much more than a story of an affair, it is about two people who seem lost and are looking to each other to "fix" the other's problems. Throughout the entire storyline, while the subject matter can be touchy, author Olivia Lichtenstein does a great job of showing us all the sides of the characters and we get to discover that nobody is perfectly right or wrong, but rather that they are all perfecly flawed.
There is humour, love, sadness and a lot of "what ifs" in this beautifully written novel of modern day life for today's woman!!! I loved it.
