I have always enjoyed all the books written by this author and My Double Life is no exception - although I will admit that it was not my favorite read. My Double Life is answers the question "what if?" - I could live the life of a superstar? How many of us have asked ourselves this question - at one point in our lives? The storyline is written in a very easy manner - cute, but with a very obvious message - life isn't necessary greener on the other side.

I found myself rooting for Alexia, of course, but I was more interested in the overall dynamics and interaction of the "poor and non celebrity" -vs- the "rich and famous".

This storyline is fun - loaded with glamour, show business and nice clothes - but it also about being happy with who you are, at any given moment. I liked it.
