Remembering the women who died in Montreal on December 6, 1989

December 6, 2014 marks the 25th anniversary of the Polytechnique Massacre which occurred in Montreal in 1989.

I can honestly say that this is the event that forever changed my view of the world - when a madman calmly walked into a well known University in Montreal, separated the women from the men in the classroom and proceeded to kill these women because "he hated feminists".

That day, 14 beautiful and brave women died - all because these women dared to pursue their studies in engineering - a field which was thought of as a " solely male one" by a pathetic, spineless maniac with a gun.

I choose to honour these women - may we never forget their names -
and may we forever forget the name of the coward who killed them - may you burn in hell.

VIOLENCE AGAINST ALL WOMEN, EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD, MUST END.

We will always remember you.  Rest in peace.
