FREE T-SHIRT GIVEAWAY

The wonderful Lisa Daily, author of Fifteen Minutes of Shame (see review on this blog) is one of the nicest authors I have written to. After writing to her expressing how much I and my book club loved her book (chick lit extraordinaire) - she sent us all T-Shirts and bookmarkers!!!! Please visit Lisa at:

http://www.lisadaily.com/

I have one extra T-Shirt and thought I would give it away on this site!

The t-shirt is size S (small) and is a regular size small. Pre shrunk 100% cotton. Color is light green and it has a great Dreamgirl logo on the front. Obviously, never been worn! still with washing instructions tags on the t-shirt.

So, if you would like to enter the giveaway, just leave me a comment on this post, telling me what your favorite book is and I will put everybody's name in a hat and pick one (not very scientific but it should do the trick). Because I can't make the comments private (or just have not figured out to yet) everybody will be able to see your name, etc so just leave me your blog address as contact info (if you have one) or a USER ID name and I will post the winning name on this blog on May 18, 2008. Sorry, I still haven't quite figured out how to do contests yet either (sigh!) I am a little tehnologically challenged :) Because of my mailing costs, I will have to keep this giveaway only to people living in Canada and the USA. I will pick a name by May 18, 2008.

Please keep checking my site as I will also be giving away bookmarkers as well as most of my ARCS once I have finished with them.

Wow! You're fast. You're the first LTER site I visit and I find my URL here all ready.

I have too many favorite books to narrow it down. How about Ethan Frome, Atonement, and Anne of Green Gables.

My favorite book? That's a hard one. The book I most often recommend that people read is Ghostwritten by David Mitchell.

Isn't it nice when authors become involved with their readers. I find many of the more popular ones to be rather unapproachable.. have they forgotten that they'd be nowhere without their readers? :)

Well, I have read "The Ghost of Dibble Hollow" several times--I guess that would count it as one of my favorite books!

Tina, thanks for the T-shirt. It is a high quality tee. It is a beautiful green color and the DreamGirl logo is really cute! Thanks so much!
