Sounds like a good book.

I would choose romantic suspense because it has the best of both worlds. It has my mystery and adventure that I enjoy but also you can gaurentee that the hero will be a hot, sexy guy. LOL

The contest ends the day after my birthday! I think that's a sign. ;)

If you were on a deserted beach, which type of romance book would you prefer?

I'm not sure exactly what 'which type' means, but if I had a romance-type book with me, I'd want it to be a sweet, fulfilling kind. The kind where the two people don't just come together right away, but still end up happy together because of the things they've gone through and the people they've experienced. I like stories with a bit of conflict, a bit of drama and a lot of beautiful imagery. :)

I know I won something last time, so if I don't qualify, that's A-OK. :)

Hi Tina,
I'll list you on my contest page next Friday ... and my answer to your question: I'd bring a romance set in another time period, like historical fiction but a more "fun" :)

I would probably want on a deserted beach..a romantic suspense book. I have to have the kissing and hugging..but the thrill of the unknown pulls me in to a book and makes me forget about my surroundings (like a deserted island!). Ok, the romance would help me forget too!! :-)
I've linked your blog to mine for the contest.

I'd choose a fun, light, romantic comedy like Earthly Pleasures by Karen Neches.

Blogged you HERE.
Thanks!!

Please enter me to win this book. First, I would HATE being stranded on an island as I loathe the beach. But if I had to be there, make it a Jane Austen book. I can always learn something from Jane.

I posted about your contest here:

If I were on a deserted beach, I'd prefer romantic comedy books authored by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Hers are books I can re-read many times over, and I'm assuming I can't bring a crateful of them, right?

Historical romance for me - first choice -- mainly because I enjoy them.

I too would like to find out how the main character progresses and if she learns to stand up for herself.
I would take a contemporary romance book because this is my favorite genre. It is an easy read and about love and romance.

I added you at Win a Book -- no need to enter me in the contest. I'm just trying to spread the word about great books (and help a fellow FSR writer out).

If I was on a deserted beach I would want a Pirate Romance. Possibly one that would come in and wisk her away against her will of coarse and keep her captive upon his ship and of coarse end up in love and she'd stay on his ship with him and his crew. Gotta Love those high sea adventures with those Hot Pirate Men!!

Definitely historical romance - they're usually the longest of the romances and I would need as much reading as I could get!

It would have to be a lighthearted, chick-lit type romance because if I was stuck on a deserted island, I would need something cheerful that might induce a bit of laughter.

I'd love to read this one. It sounds great!
