Here are the questions:
1. Who’s your all-time favorite author, and why?
I have many, many favorite authors. However, William Tapply and Helen Fielding come to mind quickly. Anything Tapply writes is the best - I have never, never, never been letdown by any of his books. As for Fielding - what can I say? Three words: Bridget Jones Diary.
2. Who was your first favorite author, and why?
Since I live in Montreal and went to French school, my first author was a French author named Comtesse de Segur. She wrote some wonderful books for young teens and these books still hold up today.
3. Who’s the most recent addition to your list of favorite authors, and why?
I don't really know the answer to this one - I read many different authors on a varied number of subjects so this list would be too long.
4. If someone asked you who your favorite authors were right now, which authors would first pop out of your mouth? Are there any you’d add on a moment of further reflection?
As mentioned, Tapply comes to mind easily.

Wow! You're quick!
I hadn't realized that you lived (live?) in Montreal. Any good Quebecois book recommendations? If it is written at an early elementary reading level I can read it in French, otherwise, English translations?
