REVIEW for Eat Your Feelings

Thank you goes out to Penguin books.

TITLE: Eat Your Feelings

AUTHOR: Heather Whaley

GENRE: Recipes/Humor

RATING: 4 Stars

I am a huge fan of humor books - especially if they are combined with another fave - food!!! Eat your Feelings (Recipes for self-loathing) was a perfect fit for me. This book is hilarious - if you have a certain type of humor. This book is not really for the people who get easily offended, some of the recipe titles for example are: "You farted in the elevaor green curry chicken" or "Your birthday is September 11 chocolate mud cake".

The premise of this book is that the author takes a situation of life, comment on it (in her own unique perspective) and then she includes a black and white photo and a recipe. The recipes are okay - kind of fatty or sugary at times, but what i really liked was the author's take on the life situation.

This book is fun and kind of different and if you are in the mood to cook and laugh then this one is for you.

Oh, I can see one would definitely have to have the right sense of humour for this book. Sounds like fun though!
