It looks like summer is officially here! This means garage sale time. Here is what I found this week either in my mailbox or at garage sales.
I love garage sales and when my friend told me about a street wide garage sale (i.e. lots of people on the same street, putting out their stuff at the same time) we jumped on the opportunity, especially since it just happened to be in a very, very affluent part of town.
My first surprise is that my friend lives uphill so I also got a cardio workout as we checked out the sale. The second thing I discovered is that apparently, people who live in million dollar houses don't have any idea how to have a good street sale - in fact they sold a lot of junk that nobody wanted. I did manage to find a few great things. So, this is what I got from the garage sale.
- 5 Archie comic books (my reading stash is down to about 50, so I had to replenish)
- This beautiful summer quilt for my bed (the colors are lovely on this one and the picture does not really do it justice)
My free P&G samples which included:
- A rasor
- Pantene products
- L'Oreal face cream
- There goes the Bride by Holly McQueen

Tina yea for scoring some Archie's. you got some great stuff last week. I am still waiting for the P&G pack and nothing yet :(
