REVIEW for Between Boyfriends

Thank you to the author for sending me an e-copy of her book to read and review.

TITLE:                   Between Boyfriends

AUTHOR:               Sarka-Jonae Miller

GENRE:                  Chick Lit

RATING:

Jan Weston has just lost the love of her life (who hasn't?) and decides that its time to make some major changes and start growing up.  She wants nothing to do with love (for the moment) and chooses to re-invent herself and she starts by choosing a very different career path.

The problem?  her parents are NOT happy and decide to cut her off and what follows is an engaging chick lit about a girl who realizes that growing up and becoming your own person, without having to rely on boyfriends or your parents money is not an easy task - but is entirely doable.

I like this novel because it is actually kind of inspiring (in a chick litty kind of way).  I love it when readers get to see their heroines (or main characters) discover something about themselves it always makes me happy.

This book is well written and I loved the pacing - which made the storyline move along without making it feel as though it was dragging.

Good read if you are looking for something to make you feel good.

Ha! This book sounds like a book that my daughter (23 yrs. old... and between boyfriends!) would love! she loves Chick-Lit too.
I will have to give her this title.
Great review, thanks!
