I have to admit that when I started reading this book, my first thought was ‘oh no, not another ‘friends’ that discover they love each other books’ but I am glad that I did continue reading this novel.

While I will admit that there is no new groundbreaking (in terms of plotline here) this read was fun and entertaining.

I love that the author explores what it is to be romantic (or not!) and manages to take a bit of a swipe at her own literary genre.  This book also has a lot of humor and I found myself smiling a lot (which is always a sure winner book for me).

I also loved the main character, who actually manages to grow through these life experiences, all the while continuing to keep her optimism (a task that could have proven daunting considering what she was going through).

This book was well written and a fun read.  Unlike other reviewers, I had no problem at all with any of the activities depicting in this storyline as I found that they were an integral part of the plotline and made the storyline move forward.

Overall, I liked this book and found myself happy to have read it.
