I love, love good chick lit and I have to say that AVON books in the UK publishes some of the best books around!!! I am always excited when I see a package coming in from them.

For some reason, I had never read anything by Fiona Gibson before, which is something I plan on correcting immediately because I absolutely adored this book.

Firstly. Gibson has a way of luring the reader into thinking that the story is going to be a fairytale one - you know - happy family (mom, dad and kids) move and are, what we believe to be, incredibly happy.

Only to discover that dad just screwed up big time and mom now has to pick up the pieces and forge ahead with the kids and a new addition to the family.

This story is touching in some ways and in others is purely chick lit fun - a wonderful combination.  The "new addition" to the family was a godsend and I loved, loved reading about this woman who chooses to make the best of a difficult situation - and who has hopes for the future.

Funny, touching and extremely entertaining, I ended up reading this book in two sittings.  I loved it.
