REVIEW for A Royal LIttle Pest Mine!

A big, big thank you goes out to the wonderful people at Fitzhenry & Whiteside for sending me this great little book!

TITLE: A Royal Little Pest Mine!

AUTHOR: Anita Reynolds

ILLUSTRATOR: Karen Roy

GENRE: Children

RATING: 4 Stars

Reading A Royal LIttle Pest Mine! was an absolute joy! I absolutely loved this little book - illustrated by Karen Roy and written by Anita Reynolds. The storyline about a little prince who has many toys and never wants to share his riches. The little prince meets Princess Ella and he expects to be able to play with her great toys (although he does not want to share his own toys). However, things don't work out quite the way he wants it to and he soon learns how painful it is when someone will not share with you.

I also liked the interaction between the female and the male - prince and princess - which was a definite nice touch to the storyline.

Done in a sensitive and touching way, the message comes across subtly never removing from the enjoyment of the story.

The illustrations are wonderful and full of color! I loved this little book.
