Little Gems for the Week Ending August 18, 2012

I am not a fan of summer for a variety of reasons and one of the main ones is that the publishing world slows to a crawl, at least when it comes to publishing the books that I like.  So, this week was a quiet week (another one) although I did find two books at Housing Works.  Fortunately, these were both on my TO GET list.
