As many of you know, I have never been a fan of dystopia or anything that involves the paranormal, in fact, I have been upset, on many occasions at the fact that there seem to be so many new titles in this genre and so few in the genres I normally enjoy.
Well, I was reading Publishers Weekly recently, and there was a very interesting article about YA trends - which basically said that dystopia and paranormal are dying trends. In fact they went as far as to say that publishers are now STAYING AWAY from these type of books and going towards "contemporary issues" - which is the best book related news I have heard in a long time.
